Wireless Remote Monitor

The Remote Monitor is a wireless alarm that can be positioned up to 164 feet (50m) from a UV Pure Upstream or Hallett unit. The handheld device has an LCD display to provide status messages and an audible alarm which sounds in the event of a system fault these messages are similar to the ones on the main unit.

Automatic shut-off solenoid valve

UV Pure®’s solenoid shut off valves allow a water supply to be turned on energizing the coil of the valve with 24v AC (SVM range) for the Upstream/Hallett 15xs and 120v AC for the Hallett units. When de-energized the valve will close – shutting off the water supply.

Hallett Diagnostic Tool

The Hallett Diagnostic Tool (HDT) is primarily used to display sensor outputs for NSF/ANSI 55 Class A certified Hallett systems and Non-Certified Hallett systems. It allows the operator to record values and establish trends. The HDT is also indispensable for troubleshooting on site. It works for both Hallett 13 and Hallett 30 systems.

PRODUCT FEATURES
  • LCD Display – a 2.5” LCD display is a standard feature indicating both UV Sensors’ input values and Lamp Alarm set points.
  • Powered via Hallett unit – batteries are not required. No external power source is required.
  • Connectivity – a simple RJ- 45 patch cable (supplied) connects the Hallett Diagnostic Tool to a Hallett unit. An adapter cable is supplied for early model Hallett units.

Purge Valve

Sites that contain high iron and/or other minerals may precipitate out of solution as a result of a gradual rise in water temperature due to low or no flow. While this happens rarely, if it does, the Hallett Purge Valve is recommended.

PRODUCT FEATURES
  • Purge Valve is controlled by a temperature switch
  • If water remains stagnant within the Hallett unit for extended periods of time, the temperature of the water will eventually rise, set off the temperature switch and open the valve to allow water to flow.
  • If there is constant water usage through the Hallett unit, the Purge Valve will not open. During extended periods of no water usage, approximately 1-2 liters (0.5 gallons) of water will be run to drain periodically.
BENEFITS
  • Prevents precipitation of minerals and metals during periods of low flow
  • Does not waste water – its operation is based on temperature only, and is not set on a timer that will dump water whether it is needed or not.
  • Low water usage – flow restrictor is installed within the assembly itself.
  • Can be easily installed to a branch line since a 5/8” compression is provided for quick connection. 1/4” tubing is provided to run to a drain line.

Power Conditioner

UV Pure^reg; provides a Power Conditioner as standard equipment for all Hallett and Upstream systems to provide noise filtration and surge protection.

4-20mA Unit

The 4-20mA Unit allows for remote monitoring of your Hallett system. It provides an analog output of UV Intensity and Net UV Transmittance (UVT) from a Hallett system. The loop-powered transmitter can be used with any device that requires a 4-20mA signal for logging purposes or for process control.
