With nearly 25 years of experience in the municipal water and wastewater industry, Bob Cundall is fully equipped for success in his new role as the Regional Sales Manager covering the Eastern USA for UV Pure®.
Bob joined the company in late March 2021, where he hit the ground running with his sales expertise. As the Regional Sales Manager, Bob will be working to raise the profile of UV Pure and create a sales network to support the supply of systems in the United States. Initially, the primary focus will be on developing an effective distributor base for the smaller potable systems, and a network of representatives to develop projects using the larger systems.
Born in Montreal, QC, and raised mostly in suburban Philadelphia, PA, Bob brings a diverse water background spanning approximately 25 years. His introduction to the industry was with a manufacturer of polyaluminum chlorides and other associated coagulants. His work expanded from water service companies to hands-on work with a range of treatment plants, varying in both size and type, performing everything from jar test studies to plant trials.
The new Regional Sales Manager, Eastern US, offers experience in both corporate sales and manufacturer roles. Previous to joining the UV Pure team, Bob worked with a chemical manufacturer before starting a position with Pall Corporation where he sold membrane filtration systems for municipal water and wastewater applications in a territory covering the northeastern US from Maine to the Carolinas. Following a corporate restructure, Bob was working with a local industrial distributor before the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bob has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University. He resides in Syracuse, NY with his wife, Sara, who teaches at the local State University of New York, and his son, Geoffrey, who is studying Audio Recording Technology at the University of Hartford.
