David McNamee’s experience in lean manufacturing and operational management sets him up for success in his new role as Director of UV Pure Operations.

David joined the company in May 2018. In his role, he is managing UV Pure’s rapidly expanding manufacturing team, processes and operations. As the company continues to grow, David will take a strategic role in optimizing the manufacturing processes to meet the increasing demand for UV Pure products and manage the expanding product line. He will also be overseeing the transition of UV Pure’s existing manufacturing process to a new facility that is four times larger than the current manufacturing space.

David brings over 20 years of experience in diverse plant management and operational roles to UV Pure. Most recently, he worked for Koch Heat Transfer where he started off as the Manufacturing Manager and moved up to become the Director of Operations. Prior to joining Koch Heat Transfer, David worked as a Value Stream Manager at S.A. Armstrong Ltd and a Manufacturing Engineer and as a Supply Chain Coordinator at Xerox Canada Ltd.

David has a Bachelor of Engineering, with a specialization in industrial engineering, from Ryerson University and a diploma from Sheridan College. He also holds a P. Eng. designation in Ontario and a certificate in operational leadership from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
