Over the past 20 years, UV Pure has been manufacturing advanced UV disinfection systems from a small business park space off of busy Highway 401 in Toronto, Canada.

In October 2018, we moved to a new 12,500-square-foot facility just down the highway to support the increasing demand for our water disinfection systems. Maintaining this central location in southern Ontario ensures that the company will continue to attract top talent as we grow in the years ahead.

“Our new facility at 455 Milner Avenue in Toronto has five times the manufacturing space compared to our previous facility,” says David McNamee, Director of Operations at UV Pure. “The additional room will help us meet the increasing demand for UV Pure’s disinfection products in Canada, the US, and globally as we prepare for production of the new Hallett line.”

In addition to the larger manufacturing space, we will double the size of UV Pure’s R&D lab. This dedicated space will accelerate the commercialization of the new Hallett systems while ensuring they meet globally accepted standards for public health and environmental protection, such as the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) UV Disinfection Guidance Manual (UVDGM).

As the company continues to grow, customer service will remain at the forefront of our operations.

“We’ll be expanding our inventory of consumables and recommended spare parts to maintain our high level of service and fast response times,” explains Alex Zammit, Service Manager at UV Pure. “We’ll also be opening a new training centre where we’ll be offering comprehensive classroom sessions ranging from simple system maintenance to full technician certification courses.”
