After an active three months, it’s time to share another update about the recent developments at UV Pure. Having laid the groundwork during the first half of the year, we were able to push ahead in Q3 with fulfilling orders, strengthening relationships, and building momentum for UV Pure.

Strong demand for the New Generation Hallett

Much of our effort in the past few months has been focused on the roll-out of our New Generation Hallett™ systems, and the hard work has already paid off.

During the summer, we fulfilled a large order of 63 New Hallett units for Parks Canada. With seamless installations of these systems, the units are now providing Parks Canada with safe water to over 30 sites across the country. Following the Parks Canada installations, several larger Hallett units were shipped to customers across Ontario.

With our engineering and manufacturing processes optimized, we are now moving full speed ahead producing New Generation Hallett units for the new orders coming in. Our versatile manufacturing facility allow us to build various models simultaneously, giving us speed and flexibility in meeting new orders.

With many of our models already EPA, NWRI or NSF certified, we recently initiated the process to obtain CB/CE certification for the Hallett 1000 series – this is an important step that will give us the ability to sell our Hallett systems worldwide. The CB Test Certificate is issued based on third party testing of samples of the products against a published IEC standard, while the CE marking is a regulatory marking to enter the European market and constitutes a declaration by the manufacturer that the product complies with the essential requirements.

Making a splash at WEFTEC

In late September, UV Pure traveled to Chicago, IL for WEFTEC, an annual industry event showcasing technologies and innovations related to water quality. With more than 20,000 industry professionals in attendance, UV Pure capitalized on the opportunity to showcase the New Generation Hallett systems.

The response was overwhelmingly positive with visitors to the UV Pure booth intrigued by the new features and technology enhancements in the New Generation Hallett systems, which led to considerable interest in placing orders. Meetings at WEFTEC also supported our ongoing discussions to set up new partnerships, and we look forward to forging strong relationships with partners who will help us serve new and current markets.

Growing markets and expanding capacity

Beyond WEFTEC, our business development and sales teams have been actively working with existing and prospective customers around the world to identify the best UV Pure solutions for their needs. Running in parallel to this, our internal capabilities continue to strengthen as we endure and support the UV disinfection market’s growing demand. The recent expansion of our shop floor head count by 20%, is an indicator of the adjustments UV Pure is making to boost and support the production of the New Generation Hallett systems.

As we enter into Q4, UV Pure is spending time wrapping up the renovations and fit-out of the facility in Toronto. With our shop floor fully set up and operating smoothly, we are now putting the finishing touches on our office, boardroom and training room.

Despite all the recent developments and growth at UV Pure, we remain laser-focused on our fundamentals: understanding the needs of our customers and translating these into reliable, technologically advanced solutions that provide safe water. If you have questions about how we can meet your needs with the New Hallett, please get in touch.
