Scope of Position
In this role, you will manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with customer service, production, purchasing and the sales team to prioritize shipments.
A positive attitude is critical as you will engage with vendors and drivers, providing excellent service and support. Being a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards is essential
Major Responsibilities

SHIPPING & RECEIVING
- Records all incoming shipments and transfers, maintains shipping logs, and files all paperwork according to requirements
- Completes transfers and consolidations while maintaining inventory integrity
- Receives and counts incoming parts, ensuring accuracy between the physical count and packing lists and purchase order quantities
- Communicates and coordinates with appropriate staff for product return or repairs
- Forwards reconciled documentation to accounts payable
- Labels and shelfs parts in correct warehouse location or designated area
- Oversees the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries
- Ensures that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensures item lists are complete
- Maintains organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations
ASSEMBLY
- Assembly of stock products (lamps, kits, etc.) according to specifications and instructions
- Interprets and follows work instructions, assembly procedures and drawings
- Wears personal protective equipment as necessary for the job
Required Knowledge, Experience, & Competencies
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Good communication skills in English, verbal and writing
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- A strong work ethic that reflects UV Pure’s values of honesty, teamwork and customer-focus
- Able to lift, up to 50 pounds
- Standing/walking, reaching above shoulder height, stooping/bending
- Experience working with Microsoft Office
What We Offer
- Full time employment with a rate of $20 – $22/Hour (based on your experience)
- 3 weeks vacation (pro-rated in first year from date of hire)
- 10 paid personal/sick days per year (pro-rated in first year from date of hire)

Hours of Work
- Regular business hours 8:00AM- 4:30PM Monday-Friday (with some flexibility on start time)
