Scope of Position
As a member of the production team the Technical Assembler assembles products to meet the production demand. This role requires efficient and accurate attention to product quality during all assembly activities, following all safety protocols and policies.
The Technical Assembler is a dedicated team player who takes pride in providing quality work and acknowledges that teamwork and communication is critical to success while striving to perform all tasks to the highest standards.
As a member of the production team the Technical Assembler is responsible to ensure units are manufactured according to specifications and on time for the production team to meet customer deliveries.
Major Responsibilities
(This is not an exhaustive list of duties to be performed)
- Performs assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions, (testing, cleaning, labelling, and packaging)
- Supports the development of assembly procedures to produce quality products and service with highest standards to both internal and external customers
- Performs final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products
- Reports any incidences of non-conformance or unacceptable quality on materials and components
- Performs repair, re-work, re-assembly of product as required
- Interprets and follows work instructions, assembly procedures, and drawings
- Fills out reports for non-confirming materials, assemblies, and systems
- Wears personal protective equipment as necessary for the job
- Maintains organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Informs Production Supervisor and/or the Health & Safety Specialist of any unsafe issues in the work area
Required Knowledge, Experience, & Competencies
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Physical dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills in English, verbal and writing
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Experience using various mechanical hand tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Maintains health & safety regulations and ensures all pathways are kept clear, free from debris
- A strong work ethic that reflects UV Pure’s values of honesty, teamwork and customer-focus
What We Offer
- Full time employment with a rate of $20 – $22/Hour (depending on experience)
- 3 weeks vacation (pro-rated in first year from date of hire)
- 10 paid personal/sick days per year (pro-rated in first year from date of hire)

Hours of Work and Travel Expectations
- Regular business hours 7:00AM- 3:30PM Monday-Friday (with some flexibility on start time)
